The Universitas Paulo Freire (UniFreire) is a network of people and Freirean institutions in several countries, for example we have Chairs and Paulo Freire Institutes, in addition to different groups, research centers and higher education institutions around the world. It is organized as a space of production and knowledge publicizing, at the horizon of original meaning of Universitas, that is multiple knowledge and learning. Besides to correspond a varied number of demands from the Freirean community, it promotes the organization of International Meetings of the Paulo Freire Forum.

The proposal is to strengthen UniFreire Bulletin, socialize and reflect the actions of national and international Freirean community. The choice of a Bulletin due to the dimensions that this type includes: there is a space-time facility, once there is precisely defined and massive scope in a determinated time. The option was also given at a conceptual level, because, being more than a “news menu”, the Bulletin may have a formative responsibility being critical and somehow ‘translating’ for different people the Freirean community productions, even articulating them.

We propose a biannual publication, as decided by the Council, to be fed by representatives from the Institutes, Chairs and other associations influenced by Freirean thought. Unifreire is responsible for mediation of contents and authors / institutions as well as for the organization and coordination of any necessary infrastructure for the development and submission of publication.
