The 12th publication of the series “ Action & Reflection. Texts for the trans-disciplinary development of research about dialogic education”, from the Paulo Freire Zentrum, brings as a theme the Systematization method of Experiences.

Systematization of Experiences is a participative process of learning that generate knowledge based in the practical experiences of people. This method allow us to let visible and socialized the implicit knowledge of our actions.

The method has been developed in Latin America during the years 70 and 80, specially in projects of social participation in the educational and popular context and researches.

The book tries to bring theoretical bases of the method and instructions for the implementation of the systematization of experiences. The first part illustrates the bases, the essential elements and the limits of the method. In the second part, the author describes the five steps for systematization.
